The winning team, captained by John Colley

A great day was enjoyed by everyone at the Funday on Sunday...

Once again the weather was kind to us, allowing over 60 people take part in the tournament played in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.

John Colley was this year's winning captain, smashing poor old Phil Wilton for over 20 runs in one over to win the final of the competition for his team!

A great deal of thanks has to go to all those involved in organising another massively successful day for the club, including Chris Drew, Neil Lee, Christine Milsom and Rachel Steven.

Andy Spicer (pictured, left, with his son Sean) also took the opportunity to celebrate his 300th YMCA wicket. His partner, Joyce, baked a delicious cake to mark the occasion which was enjoyed by Andy's fellow YMCA cricketers present at the day.

Thank you to everyone who took part and all those who came up to watch and support the event.
